Chickpea Croquettes

Start by putting the chickpeas in a saucepan and add the water, turn on the heat and let it boil for 1 hour.After this indicated time, drain all the water and let them cool.After that, transfer all the chickpeas to a bowl, add the eggs and blend using a hand blender until a mixture forms.Season it with the black pepper, the curry powder, the chili flakes, the salt, the meat seasoning, also add the baking powder, the grated onion, parsley to taste, the wheat flour and the breadcrumbs, mix all the ingredients very well by hand.Now, get a portion of this mixture and round it into a ball, then flatten it in the shape of a croquette.Repeat this process with the whole mixture.After that, fry the croquettes in hot oil on both sides until golden brown.Remove them from the hot oil and soak up the excess grease on a plate lined with paper towels.Serve.

  • 240g of Chickpeas 
  • 1 Liter of Water 
  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 Sachet of Meat Seasoning (5g) 
  • 1 Medium Grated Onion 
  • Parsley to Taste 
  • 2 Tablespoons of Wheat Flour 
  • ½ Cup of Breadcrumbs
