In a large skillet over medium to low heat, add the butter, a drizzle of olive oil and stir until the butter melts.
Add the chicken thighs.
Season them with a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper and a pinch of sweet paprika.
Then flip the thighs, add the same seasoning on the other side, cover the skillet and let everything cook for 15 minutes over low heat.
After this time has passed, add the orange flavored soda and stir.
Cover the skillet again, cook for another 15 minutes, always on low heat, and remove all the chicken.
In the same skillet, add the onion chopped into cubes, the chopped garlic cloves and sauté until golden brown.
Add the wheat flour and stir until combined.
Next, add the heavy cream, the chicken broth and stir again.
Add the thighs, cover the skillet again and cook for another 10 minutes.
Serve.
