Cornmeal Dumplings

In a saucepan, add the water and let it boil. When that happens, add the salt, the cornmeal and the unsalted butter, mix all the ingredients very well until a smooth mixture is formed.Once you’ve done that, transfer all this mixture to a bowl and set aside until cool.When that happens, add the egg, the egg white and mix well incorporated.Add parsley to taste, the grated mozzarella cheese, the baking powder and the wheat flour, mix very well until incorporated.Finally, add the oil and mix until combined.Get a portion of this mixture and shape it by hand into a ball. Repeat this process until all the mixture has been used.Gently flatten each ball into a dumpling and transfer to a baking sheet lined with nonstick baking paper.Brush them with some beaten egg yolk.Finally, top each of them with black sesame seeds to taste.Take to a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) and bake for 30 minutes.Serve.

  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup of Wheat Flour (240ml Cup)
  • 50 ml of Oil
  • Black Sesame Seeds to Taste
  • 1 Egg Yolk

Modo de Fazer
