Breaded Fried Fish

Start by cleaning the fish – remove all the fins and cut off the head.And make superficial slits on both sides of the fish, just like shown in the video.Next, cut it into smaller pieces and transfer them to a large bowl.Add one pinch of salt and mix well.Cut the red bell pepper into smaller pieces.Cut the garlic cloves into round slices.In a food processor, add the pieces of pepper, the garlic slices and process until combined.Transfer this mixture to a bowl, add the grated tomatoes, parsley to taste, the salt, the black pepper, the grainy mustard, mix very well and set aside.In another bowl, add the wheat flour, the cornmeal and the sweet paprika, mix.In another bowl, add the water at room temperature.Coat the pieces of fish in the flour mixture then dip them in the water.Fry them in hot oil.Repeat this process with all the fish and fry until golden brown. Remove from the hot oil and soak up the excess fat on a plate lined with paper towel.Serve with the sauce we made.

Ingredientes

  • 1 Fish (1 ½ Kg)
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Grated Tomatoes
  • Parsley to Taste
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Generous Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of Grainy Mustard
  • 4 Tablespoons of Wheat Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons of Cornmeal
  • 1 Teaspoon of Sweet Paprika
  • 240ml of Water
