Start by slicing the cherry tomatoes in half and set aside.
Next, in a food processor, add the fresh basil leaves, the olive oil, the water, the grated parmesan cheese, the salt and the black pepper, blend all the ingredients very well until combined.
Next, in a saucepan, add water and let it boil. Once the water is boiling, add ½ teaspoon of salt and the pasta, cook for 12 minutes.
After this indicated time, fill a ladle with the cooking water and set aside.
Drain the rest of the water from the pasta and set pasta aside.
In a skillet, add one drizzle of olive oil, the red onion chopped into small cubes, the garlic clove sliced in half and add the bacon cut into strips, stir-fry until golden brown.
When that happens, add the cherry tomatoes and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
Add one pinch of black pepper, the cooking water from the pasta, the pasta and stir very well until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Finally, add all the basil sauce we made and stir once again.
Top the pasta with the grated parmesan cheese and one drizzle of olive oil, stir for the last time.
Serve.
