Start by cutting off the tails/heads of the fish previously cleaned out, cut in half and set aside.
Chop the onion into thin strips and set aside.
Transfer the fish to a baking dish and season with the salt, the garlic powder, the chimichurri, the black pepper, the sweet paprika and the olive oil, rub very well, evenly spreading these spices all over the fish.
After that, cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and let it all rest for 30 minutes.
Now, into a baking tray, make a bed with the onion strips we’ve chopped and spread them out evenly.
Place the pieces of fish over the onions.
Take to a preheated oven at 190°C (374°F) and bake for 35 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on the power of your oven.
Serve.
