In a skillet filled with boiling water, add the bacon cut into thick slices.
Using a slotted spoon, spread all the bacon slices so that they can be immersed in the water.
Let them cook for 2 minutes then remove all the slices from the water.
Now, in another large skillet over low heat, add all the bacon slices we just removed from the water and fry them until golden brown on both sides.
Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add a drizzle of vegetable oil, the onion cut into thin strips, the garlic cloves chopped into cubes and sauté until wilted.
Add the fried bacon and stir until combined.
Then, add the sliced ginger, the sweet paprika, the soy sauce, the ketchup and stir until combined.
Add the black peppercorns, the water and stir.
Cover the skillet and let everything cook for 15 minutes.
Serve.
