In a medium bowl, add the apricot jam, the baking soda and whisk until foamy.
Add the eggs, the vegetable oil and mix until combined.
Then, add the wheat flour and keep mixing until the flour is completely incorporated.
Add the mixed nuts and mix once more.
Grease a round baking dish with butter and wheat flour.
Add 1 glass to the center of this baking dish, pour the batter around this glass and arrange evenly.
Take it to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and let it bake for 40 minutes.
Finish by sprinkling icing sugar to taste over the whole cake.
Serve.
