Start by cutting the beef steaks, if they’re too big, cut them in half then make a slit only on the fat of each slice.
Transfer them to a bowl, season them with the crushed garlic cloves, one drizzle of olive oil, the sweet paprika, the black pepper and the salt, mix all the ingredients very well until incorporated into the meat.
Once you’ve done that, in a pressure cooker, add the oil and the steaks, let them fry until they start to turn golden brown.
Cut the onion into round slices and set aside.
Next, once the steaks have nicely fried, stir and add half of the onion slices.
Add the water, stir.
Cover the cooker and let it all cook for 10 minutes counting from when it reaches pressure.
After this indicated time, uncover the cooker, and remove the excess meat broth using a ladle. Add the other half of the onion slices, stir and let it all cook until the water fully evaporates.
Serve.
