Start by cutting the pork meat into 8 equal-sized steaks.
Next, transfer them to a cutting board, cover with plastic wrap and gently pound both sides of the steaks using a meat mallet.
Cut the onion into thin strips.
Now, in a bowl, add the steaks, cover with the sparkling water and season with the salt, the black pepper, the sweet paprika, the Italian spices, the garlic flakes and the milk, mix well.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it all marinate for 30 minutes.
After this indicated time, remove the steaks from the marinade.
Next, in a skillet, add a generous drizzle of olive oil, the seasoned steaks and sear each side for 3 minutes.
Then add the onion strips, cover the skillet and let it all cook for 10 minutes over low heat.
Serve.
