Marinated Beef with Mashed Potatoes

Start by placing the beef steak into the jar of pickle brine.Seal the jar tightly, place it in the refrigerator and let it marinate in the brine for 7 days.After this time has passed, in a medium-sized pot, add the potatoes sliced into cubes.Season with the salt and let them cook for 15 minutes.Drain all the water from the potatoes and transfer them to a large bowl.Add the butter and mash them until they become a puree.Next, add the grated Parmesan cheese, mix to combine and set aside.Remove the steak from the marinade, season it with salt to taste, a pinch of black pepper, garlic powder to taste, onion powder to taste and spread the seasoning so it blends into the meat.Flip the steak and repeat the same process on the other side.Transfer the steak to a baking tray, place it in a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F), and let it bake for 15 minutes.After this time has passed, reinforce the steak’s seasoning on both sides by adding a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper.In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil.Add the steak we baked and let it fry until both sides are golden brown.Serve.
