Start by adding the eggs on a plate with the ricotta.
Transfer everything to a large bowl, add the vegetable oil and beat everything very well with a hand blender.
Add the granulated sugar, the salt and mix to incorporate.
Then, add the wheat flour, the baking powder and mix everything once more.
When you can no longer mix with the spoon, start kneading with your hands until you have a smooth, uniform dough.
Transfer the dough to a table and stretch it out into a rectangular shape.
Divide it into eight equal-sized parts and shape each one into a ball.
Transfer these balls to a large baking tray and brush them all with the egg yolk.
Take to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 30 minutes.
Serve.

Can I do this recipe without the Ricotta cheese or substitute something else? I don’t care for the taste or texture of Ricotta.
