White Sauce
In a skillet, start by adding one drizzle of olive oil, add the onion chopped into small cubes, stir until golden brown.
Add the crushed garlic cloves and stir.
Next, add the ground beef and keep stirring until the meat juices fully evaporate.
Add the salt, the black pepper, the tomato paste, and the water, stir well until the sauce has thickened.
Meanwhile, in another skillet, add the butter and stir until melted.
Add the wheat flour and stir for 1 minute.
Gradually add the milk and keep stirring nonstop until you’ve added all of it.
Once you’ve done that, add the salt, the black pepper, the nutmeg and the grated parmesan cheese, stir until incorporated.
Now, get a pre-cooked lasagna sheet, top it with one tablespoon of the white sauce. Then add another lasagna sheet over the sauce in the opposite direction, forming a “cross”.
Add another tablespoon of the white sauce, 2 tablespoons of the ground beef, add grated mozzarella cheese to taste and fold the edges of the lasagna sheets over the filling.
Just like shown in the video.
Repeat this process with the rest.
Transfer all these lasagna pockets to a baking sheet lined with nonstick baking paper.
Top each lasagna pocket with another tablespoon of the white sauce, sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese to taste and grated parmesan cheese to taste all over them.
Take to a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) and bake for 20 minutes.
Serve.
