
Start by placing one of the bread slices on the coarse side of a grater and press it down firmly with a rolling pin.
Repeat this process with all the slices and set aside.
Next, grate the mozzarella and the ham using the coarse side of the grater and set aside.
Now, to assemble the recipe, first remove the crusts from the bread slices.
For the filling, add ham to taste, mozzarella cheese to taste and a pinch of oregano.
Place another slice of bread on top, with the crusts already removed then close the sandwich by pressing it down with a fork.
Next, transfer everything to a large baking tray and brush beaten eggs over everything.
Take to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 15 minutes.
Serve.
