Sauce
Start by placing the slices of bread into a large bowl, add the milk and mash everything very well until the bread is completely dissolved.
Add the ground beef, the onion chopped into small cubes, the grated carrot and the egg.
Season with the salt, a pinch of black pepper, the sweet paprika, chopped parsley to taste and mix everything very well until fully combined.
Next, take a handful of this meat mixture in your hands and shape it into a ball.
Repeat this process with the entire meat mixture.
Now, take each of these balls and coat them in the uncooked white rice.
After doing that, in a large skillet over medium to low heat, add a drizzle of olive oil.
Add the medium onion chopped into small cubes and sauté until it turns lightly golden brown.
Next, add the tomato paste, the water and give it a stir until the tomato paste dissolves.
Season with the salt, the black pepper, the sweet paprika, the garlic powder and stir once more.
Add the meatballs we prepared earlier.
Cover the skillet and let everything cook for 20 minutes.
Serve.
