Sauce
Meatballs
Start by preparing 3 molds of aluminum foil.
Take a square sheet of aluminum foil and place a medium bowl upside down right in its center.
Fold the edges of the foil until they are about two fingers away from the edges of the bowl.
Next, fold it over the bowl and set aside.
Cut the potatoes into smaller pieces, transfer everything to a medium saucepan, add enough water to cover everything and add the salt.
Turn on the heat to medium power and let it all cook for 15 minutes.
After this time has passed, remove from the heat, drain all the water and transfer to a large bowl.
Now, using a potato masher, mash until smooth.
Add the butter, a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, parsley to taste and mix until combined.
Divide these mashed potatoes equally between the molds of aluminum foil we prepared earlier and set aside.
In a small bowl, add the sauce, the dried basil, a drizzle of olive oil and mix.
Place 1 tablespoon of this sauce on top of the mashed potatoes in each mold, spread and set aside.
In a large bowl, add the ground beef, the grated onion, the salt, a pinch of black pepper, the sweet paprika, the garlic powder, the breadcrumbs, the egg and mix.
Now, take a portion of this meat mixture in your hands and shape it into a meatball.
Repeat this process with all the meat.
Place the meatballs on top of the mashed potatoes with the sauce.
Take everything to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 30 minutes.
After this time has passed, add 100g of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each one and parsley to taste.
Put everything back in the oven and bake until the cheese melts and browns.
Serve.
