
Start by grating the clove of garlic and the tomato onto a plate.
Season with the salt, the black pepper, the dried basil, a drizzle of olive oil and mix everything very well until fully combined.
Then cut the Italian bread in half and spread butter on both sides.
Place in a large skillet over medium to low heat and fry until golden brown.
To assemble the sandwich, add the sauce we prepared to one of the halves and spread it evenly.
Add the sliced mozzarella cheese, the sliced smoked pork loin and lettuce to taste.
Spread mayonnaise to taste on the other half of the bread and close it.
Serve.
