Start by seasoning the chicken wings with the crushed garlic cloves, the salt, the oregano, the sweet paprika, the black pepper and squeeze 1 lime all over it, mix very well.
Take the chicken to the fridge and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
After this indicated red time, into a skillet, add the oil and the sugar, stir until the sugar caramelizes.
When that happens, add the chicken wings and let them fry for 2 minutes or until slightly golden brown. Then flip the chicken wings and brown the other side for another 2 minutes.
Finely chop the red onion into strips and add them to the chicken, cover the skillet and let it all cook for 5 minutes. After this indicated time, flip the chicken wings and let it all cook for another 5 minutes.
After that, remove them from the skillet and sprinkle some parsley to taste all over them.
Serve.
