Sauce
Start by cutting the onions partially into 8 equal pieces, as if you were cutting a pizza.
Then, remove the onion cores and set aside.
In a large bowl, add the ground beef, the breadcrumbs, parsley to taste, the egg, the olive oil and the crushed garlic cloves.
Season with the sweet paprika, a pinch of black pepper, the salt and mix everything together with your hands to combine.
Shape the meat into balls, place the meatballs in the center of the onions and transfer everything to a medium baking tray.
In a medium bowl, add the water, the salt, the sweet paprika, the tomato sauce and mix until dissolved.
Transfer this mixture to the baking tray with the onions.
Take it to a preheated oven at 180° C (350° F) and bake for 30 minutes.
After this time has passed, add the grated mozzarella cheese, put it back in the oven and wait until the cheese melts completely.
Finish with green onions to taste.
Serve.
