Strawberry Mousse with Strawberry Glaze

Into a bowl, add the strawberries and the sugar, with a hand mixer, mix very well. If you prefer, you can use a blender.After that, add the milk and mix it all together very well.Transfer this mixture to a saucepan, sifting it through.Add the corn starch and mix very well again.Once you’ve done that, bring it to a boil over medium heat and stir until the cream thickens.After that, transfer the cream to a small glass dish, I’m using a 1.2L glass dish.Take it to the fridge and let it chill for about 30 minutes.Meanwhile, make the strawberry sauce.Into a skillet, add the sugar and stir until melted.Add the unsalted butter, stir again until it melts and turns into caramel.Now add the ripe strawberries cut in half and stir until a sauce is formed.Pour the sauce over the dessert.Take it back to the fridge and let it chill for at least 2 hours.Serve.

Ingredientes

  • 250g of Strawberries

  • 3 Tablespoons of Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon of Unsalted Butter or Margarine 
  • 200g of Strawberries
