For Breading
In a saucepan, add the water, the salt, the olive oil, stir until the salt has fully dissolved.
Add the wheat flour and stir well until a dough is formed.
On a table, knead the dough well until smooth.
Split it into 2 equal parts.
Stretch out one of these pieces of dough making sure it’s not too thin nor too thick.
Cut the dough into circular shapes, using a lid of about 14 cm diameter.
Now, to make the filling, add grated mozzarella cheese to taste, the chopped ham, and close the dough over the filling, pressing the edges with a fork.
Repeat this process with all the dough.
Another filling option: add 1 tablespoon of chopped and peeled tomatoes, grated cheese to taste, and close the dough over the filling, just like you did to the other piece of dough.
For breading, dip the snacks into the beaten eggs then coat them in the breadcrumbs.
Fry them on a skillet filled with hot oil, fry for 3 minutes on each side.
Remove them from the hot oil and soak up the extra fat on a plate lined with paper towels.
Serve.
